The NCHS FBLA chapter, along with the Family and Consumer Sciences teacher were excited to offer the 5th Annual “Fall FunFest” for the Nicholas County Elementary School (grades Pre-K through 3rd) on Thursday, October 25th. The Fall FunFest is the yearly Community Service Project for the FBLA club and both the high school students, as well as the elementary school students look forward to this event each year!
The collaboration between FBLA and FCCLA for this activity helps teach the high school students leadership and community service, which are major aspects of both programs.
The day's activities included:
The cost per student is $2.00, which is used to purchase the items necessary for the day. The FBLA club makes no profit from this event and any leftover money is used the next year for supplies.
The students were thrilled to bring this event to the elementary students again this year and worked very closely with everyone involved to make it a huge success.
