Board of Education Breaks Ground on New Elementary

Snowy conditions did not stop the Nicholas County Board of Education from joyfully breaking ground on a new elementary school on the evening of February 15th. The $19.4 million school will replace Nicholas County Elementary and will be open to students for the 2017-18 school year.

In addition to the Nicholas County Board of Education Members (Mona Vice, Steve Linville, Sherry Uptegraft, Cheryl Rawlings and Luann Kelly) and Superintendent Marty Feltner, several other dignitaries were present for the occasion.
